About Us
Since its birth in April 2006, Devlounge has provided quality original content that you won’t find anywhere else. Ran predominantly by a 17 year old designer / developer, Devlounge has progressed with the help of a few key staff members and a whole lot of writing. The site is currently still for sale, as school has taken center stage (I am in my senior year of high school) and is limiting the amount of time I can contribute to the site.
The Banner Ads – 2007 Style
In 2006 it was Overage4Design which provided some original illustrations to give us a distinguishable “artistic touch”. By the middle of 2007, they seemed a bit stale. That is when Mr. Fernando Lins stepped in in a big way and produced some totally new and exciting illustrations that you won’t see anywhere else. They added life into Devlounge 8, and we have made them the centerpiece of much of the site. To go along with the relaunch, Fernando also sat down to chat with us in an exclusive interview. Who’s Under the Hood?
Devlounge is now hosted on a VPS from Wiredtree. It is extremely fast and the support is killer. If you’re looking for a host, we highly recommend them.
