Commenting on Devlounge is one of those things that everyone wants to do. We want to hear from you in response to everything we have to say, but we also want to hear only valid, respectable comments.
Follow the simple rules below, and everything will flow well.
- Keep your code clean! – Use valid code in comments, for example, < strong > < / strong >. We like our pages being standards compliant. With your help, we can keep them that way.
- Comment with Respect – If you hate our article, go ahead and tell us! Feedback is what drives us to be better the next time around. But please, refrain from being too harsh or critical of our posts, or other members comments. Discussion is good, but too much can turn into heated debates which can lead to useless and immature flaming.
- Advertising – Don’t go advertising yourself in our posts. 99% of the time, it will be caught as spam anyways, but please, this isn’t the place to be dropping links like the amount of new Web 2.0 startups. If you are so interested in advertising, we can hook you up.
