The unfolding animation is a popular effect these days especially for this type of content, but here it’s made more special with ribbons and a circular frame. The illustrations are also wonderful detailed though I wish I could see the whole thing when I click through the page.
This monochromatic design keeps things interesting by mixing patterns, shapes, and textures on the different layers of the page, from foreground to background.
This feels a bit more modern take on the holiday look with the splash of blue and subtle lighting effects, which also soften the square grid.
Pretty straightforward, not so Christmas-y but instead gets an extraterrestrial twist.
This has a nice “deconstructed Christmas color scheme” feel to it. I kinda like their approach to the social buttons: instead of disrupting the design, they pop up in a lightbox, but at the price of an extra click.
