Early On
As those days in May came and went, I put together sketches, jotted down ideas, and opened photoshop up from time to time to lay down some various groundwork. So many different mocks, and all of them were even for just the homepage.
I tried to narrow the ideas down to things I really wanted to focus on for the next design. They included better organization of content, more focus on content (particularly on the homepage), and cleaning everything up to have room for ads and additional features. I also noted things I didn’t need, such as the calendar, which served no purpose in DL1.
